Design and Activism in Serbia

The exhibition is related to the second volume of the book titled “Graphic Agitation: Social & Political Graphics in the Digital Age”, by Liz McQuiston, which investigates the role and the position of graphic materials in political propaganda and branding of ideas in the areas of armed conflict, as well as in general campaigns for ecological and human right issues. The exhibition in the O3ONE Art Space will display the original artifacts from Serbia which were presented in the book. It is organized in cooperation with Yustat and the Civic Initiatives, and it will show a creative approach to the content, design and the references of the book. The exhibition will be followed with panel discussions with the experts from different related fields, as well as with the author of the book, who will be staying in Belgrade during the show.
