Dragoljub Zamurović photographer

Dragoljub Zamurović, born in Niš (Serbia) in 1947, graduated from the School of Architecture of Belgrade University before undertaking postgraduate studies in photography at the Faculty of Applied Arts. As a photographer, he has won many awards at home and abroad. He is the author of several photographic monographs published in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the United States, and Japan. Since 1980 he has been a member of the Association of Applied Artists of Serbia, which in 1997 awarded him the title of Distinguished Artist.

He is the winner of many domestic and international awards, of which the most important are: “Great May Award” (the first one received by the photographer) and “Nikon Award” in Japan (in competition between 60,000 participants from around the world).

Under the name Art Zamur, he has worked since 1988 with the French Gamma Agency. His photographs have appeared in leading international magazines: Time, Newsweek, New York Times Magazine, Stern, Paris-Match, Figaro, Geo, Europeo… The celebrated US magazine LIFE has published his photographs twice in it’s “Big Pictures” feature and once on the cover.

On Monday, December 4th, at 19h, Dragoljub Zamurović will present a series of photo monographs and share his professional experiences with all interested visitors.
