Photo Exhibition by Ivana Brezovac

Ivana Brezovac was born in 1971, Novi Sad. She received her Master degree in photography at the Faculty of Film and Television – FAMU, in Prague in 1999. She is the editor of REFOTO magazine, dedicated to the culture of photography. She has had four solo exhibitions in Prague, Novi Sad, and Belgrade, and she has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Serbia and Central Europe.  Her work mostly revolves around landscapes and subjective documentary photography. The photos from Cuba were done in 2001, during three weeks, and represent a kind of visual diary reflecting the most powerful impressions of her travel across the west coast of Cuba – 3000 km in total. Her attempt to approach the beauty, energy, and uniqueness of this country and its inhabitants, was achieved by the color intensity and detailed analysis.
