“DESIGNERS’ REPUBLIC” WORKSHOP
May 7th – 9th, 2007 / 14h – 18h
To strike a balance to the high profile Change2 conference that would only feature domestic and regional creativity, Mikser and the O3ONE Gallery have created a three-day workshop program named “Designers’ Republic” which will become the hub of the first half of the BDW, both for the designers and the business representatives. The program is conceived as a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences, presentations of individual projects, both by young Serbian designers living / studying / working abroad, and creative individuals and studios based in Serbia.
The choice of themes and lecturers covers a broad spectrum of current problems and issues. Through a series of Q&A sessions and panel discussions, the workshop attendees will have an opportunity to evaluate local urban, architectural, social and business topics, compare experiences, as well as suggest directions as to the resolution of issues that affect Belgrade, Serbia and Balkans today.
