I used collage type of compositions, inventing unseen subject matters and creating new worlds. I reflect on the achievements of photography cartoons, comic strips, advertisements; representing people from the Far East and self – proclaimed spiritual leaders with their followers. I try to convey movement because I believe that movement and face grimaces are the most complex features that can change the entire meaning of the image by delicate differences. My paintings carry an emphasis on anthropological investigations and frequent use of symbols. I rely heavily on the tradition of figurative painting from Cézanne and Beckman to Pop art and conceptual art to today’s hypermodernism; still leaning towards postmodernism.
