Exhibition and Fashion Show by Slavna Martinović

November 27th – December 5th, 2007

The exhibition named DIVA will be opened on Tuesday, November 27th, 2007, at the O3ONE gallery. This exhibition will bring the work of fashion designer on creation of diva image into the focus of the public. Two years-long collaboration between the author and Aleksandra Kovac will culminate in the exhibition of thirteen costumes created during that period. The exhibition will be closed with the fashion show VINTAGE MELANCHOLY. Slavna Martinović will present the collection of her unique, the 1930s and the Golden Era of Hollywood inspired pieces. The collection is a mix of contemporary chic and patinated, vintage melancholy. It is comprised of unique dresses made of finest silks, leather, and lace accompanied by luxury accessories and jewelry.

Slavna Martinović graduated from London College of Fashion, working afterward as a stylish and costume-designer in the fashion, movies and music industries in London, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Belgrade. She collaborated with worldwide renowned stars (Chloe Sevigny, Famke Janssen, Tori Spelling), musicians (A perfect circle, Aerosmith, Nsync, Pink, Usher) and others. She worked as a stylist for the prestigious fashion magazines: W, Harper’s Bazaar, Flaunt, Cosmopolitan, Contents, Soma, Marie Claire, US Weekly.
