Grandstand on creative industries, design, and competitiveness

The Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Serbia supported in 2007 – within the project “Entrepreneurial Serbia” – a series of activities focused on the potentials and development of creative industries in Serbia, including workshops on creative industries, a round table on private museums, and the creation of a study entitled “Creative Industries, Design, and Competitiveness: A Proactive Approach”. The final activity in this project is a panel discussion devoted to the development aspects of creative industries, designs, and competitiveness, which will be held on Thursday, June 12th, 2008, starting at 13h, in the O3ONE Gallery, Andrićev Venac no.12, Belgrade.

The aim of the grandstand is to launch a discussion on the current situation and perspectives for the development of the creative sector in Serbia, points to the importance of partnership between the creative and business sector and their importance to economic and social development, as well as the definition of possible solutions for improving the competitiveness of the creative sector in Serbia.
