Exhibition SERBIA@EXPO2010 is promoting the Competition for the Serbian Souvenir at EXPO 2010, as well as Serbia’s participation at the World Expo which is going to take place in Shanghai in 2010. The contemporary concept of the exhibition will present to the public the Competition for the Official Serbian Souvenir at EXPO 2010, EXPO as a phenomenon, the vision of Serbia’s participation at EXPO 2010 and SIEPA as its organizer. The goal of the exhibition is to motivate young and talented authors to join in the action of making Serbian souvenirs more contemporary.

On Tuesday the 21st of July at 13h, O3one will be a host to a panel discussion on the subject of Serbian souvenirs. Participants will include representatives of SIEPA, of the Portal Souvenirs of Serbia, of the Belgrade Tourist Board and the Tourist organization of Belgrade as well as representatives of the Serbian creative industry. Representatives of tourism organizations that are in direct contact with the market where souvenirs are sold and representatives of the creative Serbian potential, by exchanging their experiences, will try to give some guidelines and their support to designers to create souvenirs which will be presented at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.

Within the framework of the “SERBIA@EXPO2010” exhibition, which is being organized to mark the participation of Serbia at the World EXPO in Shanghai 2010, on Tuesday 21st July beginning at 1 pm, O3ONE will host a panel discussion on the subject of Serbian souvenirs.
The goals of the discussion are – presentation of the Competition for the official Serbian souvenir at World exhibition EXPO 2010, the definition of guidelines, direct communication between producers, designers, Competition organizers and their open exchange of ideas.
The organizers believe that this Competition is the first step towards the definition of the new, more contemporary Serbian souvenir and a chance for young, creative designers to contribute to this segment of Serbian representation.
List of participants of the panel discussion include Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency SIEPA, the organizer of the Competition for the official Serbian souvenir at EXPO 2010, portal Souvenirs of Serbia who are going to present the current situation on the souvenir market including its problems and possibilities, Tourist organization of Serbia and the Tourist organization of Belgrade, whose members are going to convey their experiences from Serbia and abroad,  O3ONE and Marko Stanojević, industrial designer and a representative of Serbian creative  industry.
