In the framework of the lecture cycle “Popularization of Knowledge and Scientific Communication”, initiated in the direction of doctoral studies “History and Philosophy of Natural Science and Technology” and in cooperation with the O3ONE Gallery, Dr. Predrag Milosavljević will hold a lecture on the topic “Leonardo – a new perspectives; Symbolism as an element of the synthesis of art and the philosophy of nature “.

The lecture is based on the presentation of the results of the study which indicated that the implementation of natural philosophical learning in the period of humanism and Renaissance can be seen through the geometry of fine arts. The geometry in the context of Renaissance works understood as a bearer of symbolic meaning, revealed new details regarding the level and significance of Neoplatonism and Neopythagoreanism studies, based on which a move was made in the development of science and art during the 15th – 17th century.

Namely, this is the original approach of domestic scientists and researchers regarding the understanding of Renaissance creativity in which Leonardo da Vinci played a significant role. Special significance will be given to the significance of the letter (signs) discovered at the end of last year at Leonardo’s painting – Mona Lisa.
