Software Freedom Day

Software Freedom Day is an annual celebration of free software worldwide. Designed to introduce the public with free software.

On the occasion of marking the Software Freedom Day around the world on September 15th, in the O3ONE Gallery, starting at 13h, an event will be held which will be attended by communities dealing with free software in Serbia.

In addition to the introduction of Free/Libre and Open Source Software – FLOSS, we will talk about the use of free software in everyday life and companies.  Visitors will be able to find out what are popular and free programs, learn more about communities in Serbia and how to get help from them.

The planned program will last from 13h until 17h, after which there will be a mutual gathering of visitors and community members.

The communities that will attend this event are Mozilla Serbia, Ubuntu Serbia, Linux Mint Serbia, LibreOffice Serbia, LiBRE! team, LUGoNS, and Slackware Serbia.

The support of the Pirate Party, the SrboDroid team and the informal group SUN.
