The urban regeneration project of the housing estate in Kraljevo (Dositejeva Street) refers to the construction of new apartments as compensation to owners whose apartments were damaged during the earthquake in November 2010. It is planned to demolish 21 existing buildings and build multi-story residential buildings with 363 apartments in which current tenants will be relocated. The urban regeneration is founded by the Serbian Government with a credit worth 8 million euros and the City of Kraljevo 3.3 million euros, with the donation of the European Union through technical support and donation of 0.9 million euros.

The exhibition and competition for the urban-architectural solution are part of the technical support of the project, which is funded by the European Union through the Western Balkans Investments Fund (WBIF).

The competition was supported by the Association of Architects of Serbia, in the period June – October 2015 in two phases: prequalification of architects and project bureaus, and competition of 8 selected teams in the preparation of the conceptual urban-architectural solution.

The authors of the winning solution are Grozdana Šišović, Dejan Milanović, and Mihailo Popović, within the cooperation of the bureau RE: ACT, Belgarde, and Gate doo, Valjevo.
The exhibition lasts until December 14th, 2015.
